Terms of service

These terms govern use of towncrew.co and general interactions with Town Crew. A signed proposal, booking agreement, release, or invoice may include additional project-specific terms. If project-specific terms conflict with these general terms, the project-specific terms control.

Quotes and bookings

Website inquiries do not reserve a date. A booking is confirmed only after the required agreement is accepted and any stated retainer is paid. Quotes may reflect creative scope, session length, locations, travel, crew, equipment, editing, deliverables, deadlines, and intended image usage.

Private offers

Town Crew may offer discretionary discounts or adjusted project options. Offers may range from 10% to 40%, are not guaranteed, may have conditions, and may be changed or withdrawn before a booking is confirmed. One client’s offer does not establish pricing for another project.

Client responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate project details, arrive on time, secure any required permissions under their control, disclose relevant accessibility or safety needs, and ensure that participants can legally consent. A parent or legal guardian must authorize participation by a minor.

Locations, weather, and safety

Public and private locations may impose permits, fees, time limits, equipment restrictions, or access rules. Weather, crowds, closures, travel disruption, unsafe conditions, or events outside reasonable control may require a location, schedule, or production change.

Rescheduling and cancellation

Rescheduling, cancellation, lateness, retainers, and refunds are governed by the accepted booking agreement. Town Crew may stop or postpone work when conditions are unsafe, unlawful, abusive, or materially different from the agreed scope.

Creative work and delivery

Style examples are directional and do not guarantee identical results. Town Crew retains creative judgment over capture, selection, editing, and final delivery unless otherwise agreed. Raw files and unselected images are not included unless stated in writing.

Copyright and permitted use

Town Crew retains copyright unless a written agreement states otherwise. Clients receive only the usage rights described in their agreement. Images may not be resold, materially altered, used for unlawful or defamatory purposes, or provided to third parties beyond the granted license.

Website content

Website text, branding, design, and original imagery are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party images and marks remain the property of their respective owners. You may not copy or exploit site content without permission.

Disclaimers and liability

The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Town Crew disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim, except where such a limit is prohibited.
